As the only chapter in Rockdale and Newton Counties, Phi Omicron Zeta has had several members serve in State, Regional, and International roles. The chapter has had 6 presidents; from Gloria Fallings (charter member of Phi Omicron Zeta) to Kathryn Williams (current Chapter President; 2022 -Present)

The International theme for 2022-2026 is Embrace the Extraordinary.

In 2008, a group of eleven distinguished women living in Rockdale and Newton Counties were compelled by their own experiences as members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated to organize and charter the first graduate chapter in Rockdale and Newton Counties, Phi Omicron Zeta.
