Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and March of Dimes fight for the health of all moms and babies. With the move of the MOD national headquarters to the Washington, DC area we are poised physically to accompany them as they legislate to improve the healthcare system. Empowering families with the knowledge and tools to have healthier pregnancies is necessary. Improving existing fundraising stakeholder collaborations and initiating new ones with associations, organizations, agencies, and companies is a cross-cutting priority for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and March of Dimes. Phi Omicron Zeta Chapter set goals annually to contribute donations to this Foundation.
Stork's nest
Stork's Nest is a prenatal health program for low-income pregnant women. Through partnership with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Stork's Nest inspires women to make prenatal appointments, help women have safe and healthy pregnancies, and most importantly, have healthy babies. Currently, the chapter's Stork's Nest is located in Covington, GA.
relay for life
To fight against cancer, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. provide several resources to women going through the terrifying reality of cancer treatment. The Sorority's Wigs for Awareness has contributed thousands of wigs for the cancer patients in need, including Phi Omicron Zeta Chapter.
voter registration
In the Covington/Conyers community, Phi Omicron Zeta Chapter assists people with voter registration, completing census, and overall education about voting in the community.
scholarship
Phi Omicron Zeta promotes scholarships to their local community as they host the annual Essay Writing Seminar Events to assist students with essay writing and provide scholarship awards to two local high school students every Sorority year.
